Great Super Bowl and Obama's support

After being through the holidays and getting back to busy schedules, a Super Bowl was much needed to bring that cheering spirit and activity. The Super Bowl game today was very interesting with the Pittsburg Steelers leading until the half and then the Arizona Cardinals leading until very few minutes to the end. Well, that's when Cardinals Quarterback Kent Warner just could not act spontaneously and lost the ball to Steelers. Steelers had their final touchdown points in the last minute and won the game. It was truly nail biting in the last few minutes that all of us watching stood up going closer to the TV.

I was always cheering Steelers knowing they always are a better team. Before the game, I heard about this story of Kent Warner (Arizona Cardinals) being a very kind person who proposed to a divorced woman with two children including a kid with Down syndrome. There was also the fact that Cardinals had not won in 60+ yrs. I was like "So what! At least they came up to the super bowl. They are going to lose badly." As the game went on, I felt the game was terribly officiated in that the referees were throwing penalties against Cardinals like they want to break the record for the most penalties in a game. There's still some debate about not reviewing one of the acts that went in Steelers favor.

In what seems like opinionated actions from the referees, I wonder how much it had to do with Obama's open comments supporting Steelers. Yea, I am a big supporter of Obama. But I don't think he should have gone public with the statements of support for Steelers and that too just because Steelers donated to his campaign. That's not fair!!!
